The CRIT has launched the Best Capstone Thesis/Project Award for the graduate students - a platform to extend the appreciation to the tireless effort and exceptional creativity of student thesis. We seek to encourage young researchers in bringing their innovation to the forefront to promote sustainable research culture at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB).

We are inviting the graduate students to submit their published thesis, dissertation, or capstone to the ‘Best Capstone Thesis/Project Award-2022’ competition to establish their identity and promote their innovations and ideas to the society.

OBJECTIVE

Provide incentives to the graduate students for their high-quality thesis outcomes in the form of Medals/Certificates/Prize money/special awards.

Encourage the undergrad students for quality research to publish in the Scopus indexed journal.

Uplift the research activity in the GUB research community and enlist GUB in a major institutional ranking like- the SCImago® institutional rankings, QS rankings, World University rankings, etc.

WHO CAN APPLY

All capstone thesis/project works conducted in GUB premises and published in at least one SCOPUS indexed journal or conference paper in the calendar year 2021.

Any research project with multiple publications in SCOPUS® database will have greater chances to be rewarded.

SUBMISSION ITEMS:

The submission items for the “BEST CAPSTONE THESIS/PROJECT AWARD” can be submitted by following the guideline and through the submission link provided by the Center for Research Innovation and Transformation (CRIT).

1. Nominating letter from the supervisor (format attached)

2. Background and project details (To be no more than 500 words)

3. Research outputs and its impact (To be no more than 300 words)

4. Published paper

5. Three minutes video presentation

An entry is qualified for evaluation when:

All required fields of the online submission forms are completed.

All requirements of the above items are fulfilled.

PRIZE MONEY:

1. 8 Gold Award - Taka 10,000 per group

2. 10 Silver Award - Taka 7,500 per group

3. 10 Bronze Award - Taka 5,000 per group

4. 15 Special award - Taka 2,000 per group

5. All participants will receive Certificates
